Lisheen Carol Service Sunday 1st December

The band turned up for a pre-carol service entertainment where we played a selection of carols prior to the main event. It is a lovely setting and we are always pleased to be involved in the community event every year. Well done all.








Carols in Skibbereen Town Saturday 30th November

The band turned up on Saturday 30th November between the showers to provide some entertainment in Skibbereen town before the lighting of the Christmas tree. Was the first outing for our new cornet player Benny. Well done to all involved.

Taste of West Cork Finale Sunday 15th September

The band played for the finale of the Taste of West Cork food fair in Skibbereen town. The were loads of stalls showcasing produce from around West Cork. We played our full programme which went down well with the crowd on the day.

Baltimore Lifeboats 100th year Celebrations, Sunday 8th September

Our second engagement was on Sunday and saw us contributing to the 100th year celebrations of the Baltimore Lifeboats. Despite the rain the was a good attendance to see the new boat and enjoy the music on offer.






West Cork Forum, Saturday 7th September

We had a busy weekend in Baltimore. Saturday we played for the West Cork Forum for a Taste of West Cork. It was a lovely spot down in the Baltimore Harbour next to the sailing club and we tried some of our new pieces which worked very well as additions to our programme.

Cape Clear, Sunday 25th August 2019

St Fachtna's Silver band travelled to Cape Clear on Sunday to provide some entertainment to the local event that day. The weather was superb, there was a good crowd there, and some sea shanty's were performed in addition to our contribution. We hope to return again next year.
