South of Ireland Band Championships, Clonakilty, Sat 4th July

 It was fantastic to compete again in this marvellous competition in Clonakilty on Saturday 4th of July. We were the smallest band there and we did the town of Skibbereen proud. Our soloist cornet player, Jackson, won an adjudicator award for his solo "Dreams" - well done.

Our 4 pieces were Anchors away, Dreams, Rock around the clock, and C&W Jamboree...all of which brought a little smile to the adjudicator.

Saturday 20th June, Cork County Council Special Music Event Scheme, Skibbereen Town

It was great to be out in Skibbereen town today playing our 1st gig in the fabulous sunshine for the Cork County Council special music event today. The event is sponsored by Cork County Council to provide live musical entertainment over the summer months. We ill be back again for another performance on Sat 18th July as part of the scheme.
