A Great day out in Clonakilty South of Ireland Band Championships. We started at 930am playing our 4 competition pieces Roody McCorley, You've Got a Friend, Happy Mallets and the Magnificent Seven. We then went on to play at Scally's Supervalu for 1015am and finished by playing outside O'Briens Bar at 11am. It was fantastic to see all the other bands out competing as well, the old time fair for some extra atmosphere and as usual the public were on great form to support everyone. At the end of the night we found out we came 2nd in the Junior Category and our Percussionist Amie O'Driscoll got a special award for her Xylophone solo.
